Los Angeles :

IZAKA-YA: located in West Hollywood, close to Beverly Hills, this tiny japanese restaurant by famous chef Katsuya is delicious and very creative (http://www.katsu-yagroup.com/izakaya.html), 8420W. 3rd St

Gracias Madre : this organic vegetarian hype mexican restaurant has a very nice outdoor area in West Hollywood : 8905 Melrose Avenue

The Ace Hotel and its fantastic rooftop bar in the Gotham city-like building in very hype Downtown LA (http://www.acehotel.com/losangeles), 929 South Broadway

Of course the SLS hotel in Beverly Hills, 465 S La Cienega Blvd

Las Vegas : Get out of the Strip and meet the real Las Vegas !

Lotus of Siam: outside of the strip in a place that you would never stop at, the decoration is really basic but the thaï food is fantastic and lots of famous people go there (http://www.saipinchutima.com), 953 E Sahara Avenue

The Neon Museum (http://www.neonmuseum.org/) located in old downtown, it invites you to a walk between the old signage pieces from hotels that were demolished, some of them are really iconic, it reminds you of the old Vegas, a charming place to see

Mexican restaurant La Comida, 100 6th street in old Downtown : http://lacomidalv.com. Very good food and authentic atmosphere, very relaxing

The Golden Steer, 306W Sahara Avenue, a classical steakhouse (http://goldensteersteakhouselasvegas.com)

Blue Ribbon sushi, very good sushi et the Cosmopolitan 3708 Las Vegas Blvd South

A must see: spectacular Hoover Dam on Colorado river (about 1 hour drive from LV) in Art deco style, it is magnificent

If you can, have an helicopter tour on the Grand Canyon with Maverick Helicopter, spectacular www.maverickhelicopter.com Amazing store for Camping, hunting and fishing, Bass Pro Shop is a huge lodge type store with deers, racoons and all sort stuffed animals. For us Europeans, it is as crazy as the Strip ! Bass Pro Shop, 8200 Dean Martin Drive.
