When Sam Nazarian, head of SBE, decided to renovate the iconic Sahara hotel, he decided to continue his successful partnership with Philippe Starck. Starck and Bruno Borrione designed all the interiors of this ambitious project and called Nido to collaborate with them in 2012. Since, NIDO has been doing design development, furniture and lighting design or selection, accessories selection and decoration.

Open in August 2014, with its 3 towers of rooms (Lux, World and Story for a total of 1600 rooms), its 2 pools, its casino with 80 tables and 800 slot machines, its 12 restaurants, this impressive resort took up the challenge of developing the North part of the Strip with the leitmotiv: “North is the new South”.
